Today (24 December 2021), NHS England has announced that there will be a short delay in the consideration of the legislation that will establish NHS Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) in England. This will see their creation and the disestablishment of CCGs move from the planned date of 1 April to 1 July 2022. NHS South East London CCG will continue to operate as normal until 1 July 2022, when South East London’s ICB is now scheduled to be established.
