NHS South East London Clinical Commissioning Group is delighted to announce that each of the former Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) in south east London has been rated ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ in NHS England and Improvement’s annual assessment process.
NHS England’s assessment measures CCGs, NHS Trusts, and foundation trusts performance against key indicators, including quality of care, population health, financial performance and sustainability, and delivery of national standards.
The results place south east London boroughs amongst the best performing systems in the capital and across the country. Lambeth and Southwark retained their ‘Outstanding’ rating for the third consecutive year, and Bromley, Greenwich and Lewisham retaining their ‘Good’ rating.
This year is a particularly significant milestone for the borough of Bexley, with a comprehensive commitment to improvement being rewarded with their rating being raised to ‘Good’.
