Big Health Week 2019
On the 25th October 2019, Bexley, Greenwich and Lewisham held the Learning Disability Big Health Day at Thomas Tallis School.
The event was a cancer awareness and health information day for people with Learning Disabilities, and their friends and family, from Bexley, Greenwich and Lewisham.
There were lots of activities for people to join on the day, these included dance and exercise classes, smoothie bikes, theatre and choir performances and much more.
It was the first time an event like this was organised across 3 boroughs and the event itself was attended by over 340 people.
You can read a summary of the event included who was involved and feedback from those that attended.
