Healthwatch

There is a Healthwatch in every area of England, and an umbrella body – Healthwatch England. Healthwatch is a statutory function funded by, but independent from, local authorities. Healthwatch listens to your experiences of health and care services in order to drive improvements. They also:

  • provide information and signposting on local health and care services.
  • promote and support the involvement of patients and service users in the design, provision and scrutiny of local health and care services.
  • listen to residents about your needs and your experiences of health and social care services.

Healthwatch voice the views and concerns of local people with those with the power to make change happen, to make health and social care services better.
