The rising rates of Covid-19 cases being seen in south east London means that our health and care system is coming under increasing pressure. We are also planning for further increases over the coming weeks. In response to this and to ensure that we are able to provide an effective CCG response, we have taken the decision to cancel the PCCC meetings scheduled to be held in public. This decision will be reviewed as the situation evolves.
During this period where urgent matters arise, the PCCC will discuss the best way to handle them, ensuring it balances the demands relating to responding to the pandemic on committee member’s time with the urgency of the decision required. Full papers, considerations and any decisions taken by the PCCC will be published on the CCG’s website and advised at the next scheduled public meeting.
NHS South East London CCG has responsibility, delegated from NHS England, for commissioning local general practice (GP) services in Bexley, Bromley, Greenwich, Lambeth, Lewisham and Southwark. Our Primary Care Commissioning Committee (PCCC) is responsible for making collective decisions on the review, planning, and procurement of general practice services.
